Thanks S We have done calendars the last few years in a row but our marketing director, Tayja (Tasha Hall) has moved to Slocan. She was so good with the camera. We were fortunate to have her working with the rescue for the past few years and putting calendars together at the end of each year. Since 2005 the calendars have been very professionally put together, before and afters, we could do something like that again..thanks again for your offer..we still have to plan our meeting soon

Thanks Sonya for standing by. The IERRS is under restructure and focusing on Programs and Proposals, Integrated management that will help build a solid future foundation, not just for the IERRS but all involved in animal welfare. For example an Alliance was formed when the rescue assisted a cat rescue on a large mission of trapping, fixing and releasing feral cats. In return they connected us with people that could help change laws for the horses. We did look into where the feed tax money was going across Canada at 60,000 dollars a day. The quest was called "You can't have your horse and eat it too" Unfortunately the idea may have triggered all livestock feed being taxed, to condone horse feed being taxed, separating horses, livestock vs horses as pets.
I am working on revising the Integrated Case Management Program, (approach to animal welfare) and would still like to send it over to you to get your opinion on it.

I only wish I had taken him much earlier, maybe even as a colt, he would have been an amazing friend to have.

You have no idea how much I am tempted by this but honestly at the moment it would not be fair to anyone for me to take him at the moment. I'm still learning the new role of being on my own with a 2 1/2 year old and working full time. I have very little time alone with my son as it is and can't see how I could fit in a youngster since I live in an apartment and he would be boarded. I wish you the best of luck in finding him a suitable home though.
