Gracie's Story:
Gracie was bought at the FVA in September. At that time our vet put her at no older than 3 months, so she is around 6-7 months now. She is a dark bay STB filly, but is more refined like the TB. When she came she had 2 puncture wounds to her right hind leg that were VERY infected. We had the vet out, in which time she received a tetanus and a 2 week bout of antibiotics. It has now cleared up and she has never shown a day of lameness since then. There are no visible scars, but there is a slight lump that is only noticeable to the touch. Aside from the injury she was also unhandled, full of worms and lice. All in which has now been taken care of and she is just like any other weanling her age.She is an extremely willing horse so I can't take much credit for how easy it was to halter train, tie, pick her feet, stand for the farrier, worm, catch, lead through anything. I have had her out on a few occasions, cars, dogs, skateboards and anything else isn't an issue so far. She is a suck who loves attention, she loves to please and may test boundaries, but respects them as well. She is easy! For any horse lover she would make a great pet/ partner and could be suitable for anything in the future.
She is one of the nicest horses I myself have come across, but when I got her I made the choice to go to the auction based on helping a little one have a chance at life. She deserves to be loved, doted on and to have a best friend that would do anything for her as she is more than willing to do anything for you. I sometimes forget how young she is because she can act like such a mature little horse. I am offering her for free to a perfect home as I also have another little one I got with her who now needs my time  and she has learned enough with me that I am confident she is ready for her new life.

If she sounds like a member you might be willing to add to your family feel free to write. The perfect situation is all I am looking for.
