I am looking for a Draft cross (must be or I will not consider) with stockings and a blaze (not necessary, but it would be nice to have atleast one of them).
I am looking for a younger one (under and I don't mind if the horse is not trained.
I would also consider $1000 + trade of my TB gelding (

If you own, or know of, a horse that fits this ad, please send me an email or PM.
And then the IH link as well:
http://www.islandhorsesforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=41696&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40Some things are not always as they "sound" to be. I am all for supporting those in need. Heck, come look in my backyard! We have absolutely no extra $$ to throw around, yet I somehow managed to spend 400$ in the past 6 weeks on horses that aren't mine, trying to give them a leg up. My credit cards will be bleeding for a long time, and it's not something I'll be able to do again anytime this year, but there were 3 horses that needed help, and between the 3, there goes 400$ out the window. And I don't regret it, and those horses I"m sure are thankful for it.
I think sometimes though, we can misplace our generosity and concern. I believe there is a huge difference between helping those out that have NO OTHER OPTIONS and have been beyond the bottom of the barrel even though they've fought and tried to get out, versus..... immature kids who want to own a horse yet aren't willing to do what it takes to acquire the money needed to provide that horse with the essentials it needs....a.k.a.... get a job. Be responsible. Have some common sense. Own up to your responsibilities and become a better, stronger person for it. There is no reason that a healthy, well spoken, 15 year old girl cannot get a job, ANY JOB, and make a few dollars to pay for the things her horse needs, until she's able to find him a new home. That means 10$ for a flymask so he doesn't get an eye infection. That means 40$ for a trim. That means 50$ (or whatever) for more food so he can get healthier faster.
I absolutely believe in helping out the underdog. But I don't believe in enabling. Especially a child. What kind of precedent does that set for the future?
I hope my opinion doesn't tick any of you above 3 off, because I know all 3 of you have huge hearts, and are extremely generous, and only care about the horses, and I respect you all a lot because of that. But I also don't want to see you get taken advantage of. Because that would really tick me off, if you all got taken advantage of.
