New and Improved

« on: July 18, 2010, 06:03:31 PM »

For anyone who remembers Cassie (she may have originally been gypsy??), the pretty black canadian/morgan filly from the gibbons herd, big star on her forehead. Angie had her for a bit.

She's at a lovely little barn now in Victoria, a sweet older woman owns her now, and she has an 8 year old leaser who loves her to bits too.

Anyone can ride this mare, she just wants to please. I sat with her today and she buried her head in my chest.

Her owner is very interested in pictures of her from when she first arrived, so if anyone can help me find some of her, it'd be appreciated.

When I go out on wednesday again i'll snap a few pictures.

Cassie is probably 6 now, 15.2hh or so, with a glossy black coat and not a rib to be seen. she's fat, happy, has her own small paddock and enjoys pasture time with other horses. she has a friend in the paddock next to her as well. she is a total snuggle bug of solid muscle, and is well loved by everyone at the barn.

Just thought i'd let everyone know!

Edit: looked at the complete album, and it looks like Cassie was originally Mare 8!!

I remember her as Laura's horse,  and one of the top...maybe three....worst looking horses in the bunch,  she was so emaciated.
So glad to hear she's doing well.  Get pics if you can!
